EARLY LIFE.

Coco Lazlo was born to a teenage mother in Mexico before they eventually moved to the States when Coco was very young. For the majority of Coco’s life, they moved from state to state, living with the many shifting boyfriends of her mother. Coco doesn’t remember a lot of these men by name, but by state and actions. Her memories aren’t based on a measurement of time, but rather location.Many of these men were as poor as them and Coco found herself slotting into the lives of others as subtly as she could, sleeping on the floor or in corners. In cars when they were moving on. A decent amount of them were abusive and Coco was a timid child, easily beaten and told what to do, easily neglected. Because of this, her childhood wasn’t traditional and her education was flawed and incomplete. She didn’t learn how to read until she was 10 years old.Eventually, after falling out when a snap occured at sixteen years old, Coco separated herself from her mother and decided to live in one of the places she hadn’t yey touched in her vagabonded existence so far: New York.

MR. KITE.

Coco immediately attached herself to a guy with his own place and became romantically involved with him. It doesn’t really need to be fully explained to be understood, but this guy was a piece of shit. He took advantage of her, manipulated her, abused her and wasted every bit of money she made at her shitty little job.Of course, the bar was in Hell. Considering everything she witnessed and dealt with in her life, the behavior was normal enough to deal with for years. Yes, years. She was purposeless and whatever he wanted was enough motivation to keep going. In all honesty, she was just happy to have a steady place to stay. Even better, one day she came home and her boyfriend got her a ferret.The ferret is a big deal. She never had a pet before. She named him Mr. Kite. Of course, she loved him and he was very sweet and had tiny hats. He liked her shoulder and she talked to him all the time.

REVENGE QUEST.

Remember, though, her boyfriend was a piece of shit and owed money to the wrong people.One of the many heads of a Russian Crime organization came to collect one night and in the process, Mr. Kite was murdered. Her boyfriend is eventually killed later down the line, but she leaves him that night. Full of newfound rage, she decides to dedicate herself to a goal. Suddenly, she has a purpose: revenge.There was an insanity associated with plotting the downfall of a major criminal power over a ferret, but it was about more than a ferret. It’s about her life being disrupted. It was about one more person laughing at her spineless existence.She spent all of her time hardening an artificial spine. Nearly all of her money was poured into physical and mental preparation. She then discovered RAW Graps.

RAW.

Training how to wrestle felt as rounded as she could get combatively, with as much time to spare as possible. She was a difficult, skeptical and frustrated student. But she learned quickly and her approach to wrestling has always been learning forward.Either always early or consistently late, there were times Coco would steal any food left in fridges or lockers for herself and on many occasions, she would be found snoozing in various corners and nooks or the gym. Her time in RAW preceded getting an apartment.Within RAW, Michael Kelly was proven to be a knowledgeable mentor and Coco was headed in with a wave that featured the likes of Sierra Renegade and Nike Rivers. When Coco was given the opportunity to professionally wrestle in Japan, she took it.

WRESTLING.

Starting off stranded in Japan, Coco was a sponge and took her makeshift citizenship in stride. After all, she spent months over there as a competitor and despite her goal for revenge, found a love for wrestling. She debuted in NJFC, rest in peace, and then found SHINE.Following in the footsteps of Mark Storm and everyone else who is on the roster of a million different places, Coco joined and slotted into wherever she could. The Renaissance Project, Paramount Wrestling, King’s Road, Apex Wrestling, Nemesis Pro and LSW to name a few.It’s okay to be in this many places because SHINE is still the only company listed that is consistently booking and putting out a product.

CURRENTLY.

She has her own apartment in New York, with a roommate named Bob. He tried to kill her, but they’re over it by now. He’s just a result of her actions.Which, balancing out her career and her need for revenge has been quite difficult. Personally speaking, her social life is a joke as she finds herself to be single, not ready to ever mingle and with too many friends to ever really be comfortable. If she’s not fighting, she’s dancing or fucking the night away, traveling and training and now, even teaching at times. Regardless of how often she falls out with RAW or anyone there, she always crawls back.Still, she has found success in the ring as a Tag Champion with Claire Lichfield in SHINE as Cookie&Cream, and the Queen City Champion of Paramount. A double champion, Coco wishes to hold eight titles at the same time. Unrealistic, but the Octopus Champion vision lives in her head.

There’s an obvious need that exists within her. It’s this same need that urges her to always want to prove her worth and skill. If there’s someone out there who is better, she will try to catch up to them. If talking the best is the overall discussion, she wants to be part of that.Her strength is striving , while her weakness is competitiveness.

She’s an adrenaline junkie and actively looks for rushes. Whether that could be found through danger or other means, it’s of little importance to her. Motorcycles, fighting, fucking, drinking, gambling, displays of stupidity in the ring, whatever gives her that jolt of excitement.Her strength is daring, while her weakness is recklessness.

Survivor

Deep down, there is something inside of her that strives to survive all odds and so, always stacks the odds against herself as a means of challenge. There is nothing to survive if you don’t face it and everything you do, anything you contribute energy into, has to work to serve that survival. Acquaintances at most, but no one close unless they benefit the overall purpose.Her strength is perseverance, while her weakness is a lack of trust.

Machine

She pushes herself to the limits in order to become stronger and learn as much as possible, an attempt to tame any weaknesses she might have and become better at whatever it is that she does. Though becoming good at wrestling is also good. Traveling will benefit her.Her strength is her work ethic, her weakness is burn-out.

Slow Healing

She’s been known to get fucked up due to her extracurricular activities and the fact is, she stays fucked up for a while. Bruises don’t clear up as easily as they should and noses don’t stop bleeding as quickly as she might like. When she bleeds, she bleeds buckets.

Driving Goal

In the end, her need for revenge will kill her. This is indisputable and set in stone. When that will happen exactly, who knows? But it will. She prioritizes it above everything, including her career, friends and family.

Mortal Limits

No matter how hard she trains, no matter how much she fights, she will always have her limitations. Even if she goes beyond them, you cannot harden your mortality.

Strategies

Her most common strategy, she will always try to outlast and gas her opponent, breaking them down and looking for mistakes to make an opening out of. If her opponent has an injury, she will target it. If weapons are allowed, she will partake. She doesn’t see the personal growth presented within cheating but will always try to fuck over someone she dislikes regardless.

Match Types

She’s done a little bit of everything in her short career, from deathmatches to submissions to whatever the fuck else, it’s evident that she will try anything more than once. She hates tournaments, but will respect and find her spot during tournament season.

Tag Team Dynamics

Yes, Coco stole Claire from Olivia. Sorry Olivia, it wasn’t Coco’s idea.Still, Claire has become the Narrator to her Tyler. Or the Tyler to her Narrator. She holds Coco accountable for her words and encourages her whenever Coco is passionately sharing her opinion. Both girls are unapologetic and angry. It serves them well and every day Claire teaches Coco something new about the environment.

Liberty is someone that Coco has always admired and envied. You would think this would have initially made them close, but between snarking and bumping heads, these two girls couldn’t stand each other for the longest time.Eventually, however, Liberty disappeared from Coco’s life completely, which devastated her - until Liberty returned and was honest with Coco about why she left. Opening a conversation hinged on honesty between them, both girls realized they were two of many trainees that were sexually and romantically involved with their mentor, and it became obvious they were emotionally manipulated by him.This clarity has made them closer and the understanding has become a support system. Coco is protective of Liberty and Liberty is a reminder for her to take care of her and her own.
